                                  The Monarch show 

On Tuesday 10th of  August, there was a surprise for the school! It was a Monarch show! The teacher/reliever said it would either be a Monarch butterfly show, or the royal Monarchy.  My class and I went into a line outside, and began walking towards the hall. As we were walking, I thought the show was the Monarch butterfly type and fortunately I was correct! We sat down and watched the show and I really enjoyed it! I still liked it even though I don’t have a favourite part, but I do think there was a part that was really interesting and funny. The part that was funny and interesting was when this machine could add people from the past and when a woman tried to hide all the girls but then disappeared. It was really fun and I enjoyed it. I wish I could see it again.

Silent movies

Yesterday I watched a silent movie trailer. I was not sure what the first trailer(Gold Rush)happened, but the second one(Lion's cage) I know what happened. So at first there was a man running away from a horse that was chasing him! So he ran into a cage and unfortunately the was a lion in the cage. He then realised that there was a lion in the cage. So, after he realised that a dog came barking at him. A woman came and just before the man could explain she fainted(I think)! Another woman came unlocked the door and freed the man who was trapped and that was a happy ending!

2020 Olympics fanzone

 Today, my class and I went to the 2020 Olympics fanzone.  First we went onto the bus, I was surprised

that the bus we took had seatbelts! Next the bus driver started to drive the bus, I would have been sleeping

if only it was a bit more quiet, but I was fine with that. We finally arrived at the place! We first asked

Debbie Tanner questions. Then we went to the part where we play(game zone), then we went to the

part where we do the challenges(activity zone)after, we went back onto the bus to go back to school.

I loved it and it was quite fun!

Bike training!

Greetings bloggers. Yesterday and the day before yesterday we were doing bike training! Its was really fun, but since I didn't know how to ride a bike I went to the learning group (I can't remember what it's called). It was really fun even though I couldn't make a full lap of pedalling. It was cool looking at the other people pedalling, there were also people from the same group i'm from and they were really excellent at pedalling! It seems that they are quick learners. I'm still going to continue riding bikes at home.

Subway from Kāinga Ora

Hello bloggers, 

On Monday[the 5th]my entire class[including me] had Subway for lunch! The reason we got Subway, is because Kāinga Ora let us fill a form about our neighbourhood, and then we won. It was really nice when we won Subway, but when I asked for the ham one my teacher accidentally gave me vegetarian, even though my teacher gave me the wrong one it was still amazing! Here's a photo.

First boat animation!

 Hello blogger, today we were making animations on Google Slides. I'm on my fourth slide so far, so i'm not done. What do you think I should improve on or add. Here is my animation.

Tip: To make the waves, you need to use the curve tool. The tool that says "Curve".

Week 6( the second test launch)

Two days ago(Tuesday 6th of June 2021) we were doing a second test flight, our group(Hafsa, Jaymalyn who was not here on the day, Musawir, Aarna and me)was the first one to go. Musawir was the one who pumped the air, Hafsa has recording it, Aarna was watching Musawir pump the rocket while I(Wynette) was writing down what happened. The first time it flew, it only flew a few inches away from the ground, I thought it was *mediocre. Then, when we did the second test flight( my group was doing the same as last time, with different PSI and the water pressure) it flew I think almost two metres high. After that, I wrote down what happened in the first flight and the second flight. It was fun watching other groups and classes rockets fly.
